Liv (also know as ‘Ort’ in online spaces) is an east coast artist intensely fascinated with life, death and the natural world; their work often explores themes of mortality, nature, and the fantasies such things inspire.
Raised in rural NJ, Liv enjoyed collecting the many animal bones and natural oddities they came across, an activity that has persisted into present day. When they're not out scavenging, they can be found crafting costumes and antiquing.
They graduated in 2020 from Pratt Institute, in Brooklyn, NY, with a BFA in 2D Animation. They currently live in Philadelphia, PA, with their pet parakeet, Dillweed, surrounded by their ever growing collection of bones and taxidermy.
